Flash : it makes websites interactive and exciting and has been the industry standard for playing video online for a number of years with all the major players such as youtube and vimeo using it. However the problem with flash sites are:
1. they are slow to load
2. they arent read very well by search engines making SEO nearly impossible as all text is read as imagery
BUT ! what if I said that all the beauty of flash was possible purely using HTML coding.
welcome HTML 5, the latest version of the webs standard markup language. It has the ability to perform with all the bells and whistles of flash but without any of the “heavyness” slowing sites down, and also all text can be ready by search engines.
